Obituary for Nancy B. Chew (Beck)
Nancy B. Chew age 81, of Woodbury Heights passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2019. Born in Philadelphia and raised on 1st Ave. in Mantua Terrace, she graduated from Paulsboro High School Class of 1955. Nancy was a member of Mantua United Methodist Church. She was an avid sewer, and enjoyed trips to the Christmas Tree Shop and Boscovs. Nancy also had fun playing Pokeno with her sisters.
Wife of the late James W. Chew, she is survived by her daughter, Laura L. Holman and her husband Lance of Glassboro, two granddaughters, Rebecca and Meghan, two sisters, Alice Williams and Marion Brickner and her brother, Laurence Beck and his wife Shirley. Nancy was predeceased by her siblings, May DeRocher, Charles Beck, Jr. and John Beck.
Family and Friends may visit from 9:30 am to 11 am on Tuesday, March 26th, at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street Mantua, NJ where a Memorial Service will be held at 11 am. Burial will follow at Gloucester County Veterans Cemetery in Monroe Township, NJ.
