Doris Ann Donnelly 93, of Deptford passed away Sunday, May 19, 2019 at Woodbury Mews. Originally from Philadelphia, Doris and her husband Ed moved to the Lakebridge community in Deptford shortly before he retired from RCA. They were both active in the community and faithful parishioners at Saint Patrick's Church in Woodbury. After Ed's passing, Doris remained active in the community, enjoying blackjack on Friday nights, movie nights and the pool. While serving Meals on Wheels with her sister Eleanor, they met Jim Keegan, who became a loving companion and part of the family. They also enjoyed the activities at the American Legion and the local Irish Club until his passing. Doris will be remembered as a tough cookie with a good sense of humor. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and companion, she was loved by many and will be missed by all.
Doris was predeceased by her husband, Edward F. Donnelly; survived by sons, Stephen (Judy) of Lenexa KS, Patrick (Jan) of South Plainfield, NJ, Paul (Kim) of Franklinville, NJ; daughter, Frances Kaufhold (Mike) of Schertz, TX; 14 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren. Doris was predeceased by her son Dennis, 4 sisters and 2 brothers.
Family and Friends are invited to visit from 10:00 am to 10:30 am on Tuesday, June 18th at Holy Angels Parish at St. Patrick's Church, 64 Cooper Street, Woodbury, New Jersey 08096. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am with burial to follow at Beverly National Cemetery in Beverly, NJ .
